My approach to therapy is Client-Centered, which focuses on establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with clients in order to allow them to more freely explore thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Client-Centered therapy involves meeting clients on their level instead of being in the role of expert or sage who will provide all the answers. It also involves authenticity, which I believe helps to build trust and rapport with clients. Even though I'm a therapist, I'm also a normal human who struggles with life issues too. Most importantly, Client-Centered therapy involves empathy, the ability to understand and relate to the way a client is feeling.
